Join local author Alicia Duncan for an author pop-up at Casa del Sol in Mission, BC, as they celebrate their 27th anniversary.

Alicia was one of Casa del Sol’s original staff members when they first opened. On October 17, things come full circle as she returns with her debut book, The Other Side of the Straitjacket: A Daughter’s Story of Mental Illness and Assisted Dying, with copies available for purchase and signing.

The anniversary celebration will also raise funds for the Starfish Pack Program in Selena Chabara’s name, with a portion of proceeds from Alicia’s book sales that day donated to the fundraiser.

Stop by, pick up a signed copy, celebrate 27 years of Casa del Sol, and support a great local cause.
