I am an advocate for transparency, ethical oversight, and accountability in assisted dying systems. My work focuses on exposing systemic failures, strengthening safeguards, and ensuring end-of-life policies protect the vulnerable.

My advocacy includes:

Policy Reform – Testifying before government committees, engaging with policymakers, and pushing for stronger safeguards.

Public Awareness – Featured in international media, including CBC's The Fifth Estate and the BBC documentary Better Off Dead?

Investigative Efforts – Fighting for independent oversight and transparency in assisted dying assessments.

Writing & Research – Author of The Other Side of the Straitjacket, examining Canada’s MAiD system and its impact on families.

International Impact – Providing insights to global policymakers on the risks of assisted dying laws without sufficient protections.

Assisted dying should never be easier to access than support for living. I continue challenging policies that put vulnerable people at risk and advocate for a system where transparency and accountability are non-negotiable.
